seasons

SUMMARY
My video is all about seasons. Earth has four different seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. So basically this video explains how the season's change and what causes them to change. Orbit is the path for Earth to revolve meaning Earth goes around the sun,
an ellipse is the shape of the orbit. Revolution is when the earth goes around the sun. It takes 365 days and 6 hours. The axis is the line through the earth it's tilted 23.3 degrees. The seasons are caused by the revolution and the tilt of the axis. Direct sunlight is when sunlight comes straight to earth and it makes the earth warm. Indirect sunlight is when the sunlight weak and not straight. The equator is a line in the middle of the earth. It has no seasons at all. The reason of this is it receives the same amount of sunlight year round. When the axis of the earth is tilted toward the sun it is the summer season in the northern hemisphere. When there are equal amount day and night. Not too cold or hot it falls seasons in the northern hemisphere. When the axis of the Earth tilted away from the sun it is the winter season in the northern hemisphere. Last but not least when there is an equal amount of day and night again it's the spring season in the northern hemisphere.

CRITICAL THINKING QUESTIONS
How do the Sun, Moon and Earth work together as a system?

The Sun, Moon, and Earth work together as a system like they all are above us in the space surrounded by planets. The sun stays in one place, Earth revolves around it. Then the Moon revolves around Earth at the same time and it makes day and night change.

How do the Earth’s motions affect us each day?
The Earth rotates on its own axis and revolves around the sun, so days change and pass by which make us older every day. By breathing the atmosphere we are alive.

REFLECTION

1.What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
The first thing I really enjoyed was working with my group mates. They were nice and we always helped each other. Also, I enjoyed when we were recording our project, like when one person was recording and other two of us were moving the materials that were on the poster, for example, seasons and we had to add words to it. Other fun time was when I was making a snowflake that would represent winter, I couldn't really do it but I tried.

2. What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
The most challenging part of this project was at the beginning when I had to write storyboard script, it had to match with the images. So then we would make it real and record it.

3. What new skills did you learn from doing this project?

By doing this new, interesting project I learned how to use iMovie. Also, I learned more about our project which was about seasons.

4. Is there anything that you would change about this project? Explain.
I'm not really sure about changing anything on this fun project because everything was perfect and really exciting.
